NASFAA Financial Aid Night PowerPoint presentation, handouts, and accompanying guide
The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators
(NASFAA) has developed materials for financial aid administrators,
high school counselors, and other interested persons to use to
conduct financial aid night presentations.
- Planning and Conducting a Financial Aid Night,
a guide that describes all the important steps on how to set
up a financial aid night;
- Financing Education Beyond High School, a
PowerPoint Financial Aid Night presentation and accompanying
script that provide the basic information students and parents
need to know when applying for financial aid; and
- Handouts to help students and parents through the financial
aid process.

The Department of Education's financial aid night presentation for high school counselors
The Department of Education has created a "financial aid
night in a can" so you can create financial aid presentations
for students and parents. The presentation contains a series of
slides, offered as a PowerPoint presentation or as overhead transparencies.
A booklet with a presentation script and a section called Planning
a Financial Aid Awareness Program accompanies the visuals.
There are two versions of the PowerPoint presentation. One version
allows you to edit slide 5: "Costs in Our Area" by adding
a text box. It's 3MB larger and takes longer to download.
